Brian Cant (12 July 1933 – 19 June 2017) was an English actor of stage, television and film, television presenter, voice artist and writer. He was best known for his work in BBC television programmes for children from 1964 onward, most notably Play School and in later years Dappledown Farm. He appeared in two Teletubbies episodes, Cuddles Get Lost and Cuddle's Poor Paw, both featuring a teddy bear named Cuddles.
Cant died on 19 June 2017 at the age of 83 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease, an illness he was diagnosed with in 1999.
