The Teletubbies pop up and say 'Eh-Oh!' before watching some children buying new clothes for Eid. A mirror appears from far away. Laa-Laa and Dipsy like looking at their reflections in the mirror. Tinky Winky wants to look at his reflection but he is too tall, so Dipsy tilts the mirror up and down until Tinky Winky can see his reflection.

Plot (US Version)[]

The Teletubbies pop up and say 'Eh-Oh!' before watching some children buying new clothes for Eid. A mirror appears from far away. Laa-Laa and Dipsy like looking at their reflections in the mirror. Tinky Winky wants to look at his reflection but he is too tall, so Dipsy tilts the mirror up and down until Tinky Winky can see his reflection. Afterwards, they do The Round and Round Dance (extended version) before Tubby Bye-Bye.

  • This episode reuses the opening segment from Delilah Packing. The only differences are the opening shot and the Teletubbies voices have been redubbed.
  • This is the first episode where the Mirror appears, the other episode is Haircut.
  • Tinky Winky was the boo shouter in the UK Version. Po was the boo shouter in the US Version.
  • The US Version of Eid - New Clothes aired on September 30, 1998.
  • The US Version of this episode has The Round and Round Dance (extended version) after the Mirror segment.
  • Po was the missing Teletubby in the UK version. Laa-Laa was the missing Teletubby in the US version.
  • The Aziz siblings in the video segment say "Eid", an Islamic holiday celebrated by Muslims, who are submissioners to Islam. Kassim says "Eid Mubarak means Happy Eid", indicating that Eid Mubarak means Happy Eid in Arabic.
  • At the end of the video segment, the Aziz family said "Eid Mubarak" together. The phrase "Eid Mubarak" is Arabic for Happy Eid.
  • This is the first of four episodes where Po doesn't appear in the main segment. This also happened in Colours - Purple, My Piano, and Chameleon.
