Naughty Noo-noo! (known in the US along the subtitle Messy Messes & Terrific Tidying) is the 24th and final special of Teletubbies home media releases (18th special in the US). It was released on VHS/DVD on 27 September 2004 by Ragdoll Productions and BBC and on March 29 2005 in the US by PBS Kids and Paramount Home Video.

It is the final volume of the Teletubbies VHS series since nearly all consumers had switched from VHS to DVD in the 2000s with the introduction of DVD and DVD player sales.

Trivia[]

  • This is the last ever Teletubbies volume of the original series to be released both in the UK and worldwide (except for the US and Australia which as a few more exclusive volumes released by either PBS Kids Home Video or ABC Home Video respectively).
    • It is also the final Teletubbies volume overall to be released on VHS and DVD.
    • This is also the last video to not have a Magical Event.
  • Instead of a black screen, the title card for this video includes a clip of Noo-Noo tidying up from Basketball.
  • In the UK version, when the Teletubbies run outside after the Washing Noo-Noo segment, it cuts to the windmill spinning and then cuts to the Teletubbies saying "Uh-Oh" from Trickle Painting instead of just cutting to the TV Event tune with the windmill spinning, as seen in the US version.
  • One of the Bonus Features on the DVD Version is a compilation video of Noo-Noo called Noo-Noo's Best Bits. It features various clips of Noo-Noo in different episodes.
  • The promotional VHS has the 1995 Paramount logo in the opening, does not have the PBS Kids logo and does not have the title card and the clip of Noo-Noo tidying up.
  • Before the Spray Paint Mural video, the Magic Windmill spins with the beginning of the Magical event tune being played at the same time as the whooshing sound in the US version (due to the scene being shown in the US version of Washing the Car when the Windmill spins for the Three Ships).
  • Dipsy was the boo-shouter in both versions.
  • Tinky Winky was the missing Teletubby in the UK version. Dipsy was the missing Teletubby in the US version.
  • At the closing of the 2005 VHS, the Dot Audio was used for the Dash ID. This also happens at the opening of most Boohbah VHSs, as well as the opening of the Blue Sky VHS and the Canadian copy of the Again-Again! VHS.
  • This is the last Teletubbies video to have the 2000s Ragdoll logo as well as the last video to be released by Ragdoll Productions. Since then, the Ragdoll shop in Stratford Upon Avon was closed in 2005. However, Ragdoll Productions would still release them on DVD from 2007-2010.
