A voice trumpet rises, and Laa-Laa and Dipsy play a going up and going down game on the hill. They then watch some children play a going up and going down game. Then, the windmill spins and the Teletubbies watch The Three Ships before the Magic Windmill stops spinning, and then it is time for Tubby Bye-Bye.

A voice trumpet rises, and Laa-Laa and Dipsy play a going up and going down game on the hill. They then watch some children play a going up and going down game. Back in Teletubbyland, Tinky Winky looks for Po everywhere, but she is hiding from him. When he finds her, they both have a big hug before Tubby Bye-Bye.

- The US Version of Going Up and Going Down aired on November 16, 2000.
- The US Version also appears on the Time to Dance DVD but with additional commentary/onscreen notes explaining how each aspect of the series ties to a child's basic motor skills. This version of the episode is referred to as "Understanding Teletubbies" on the DVD.
- The UK Version has The Three Ships, while the US version has no magical event.
