Trivia[]

  • This is the first episode to have Season 4 in international airing.
  • Laa-Laa was the boo shouter.
  • Dipsy is the missing Teletubby.
  • For some reason in the European Portuguese version, the second half of this episode is replaced with the second half of Arthur Robot Story.
  • The train seen in the kids' segment is a British Rail Class 303 electric multiple units (among the first mainline trains in Britain to have automated sliding doors instead of hand-operated slam doors that were typical of the period) used by ScotRail (National Express). This episode aired months after British Rail was privatised, and this particular unit, 303 009, had already been repainted. The kids get on the train at Whitecraigs on the Cathcart Circle Lines and travel to the end of the line at Glasgow Central. While arriving in Glasgow, the equipment can be seen in pre-privatisation liveries, including Mark 3 carriages in InterCity Swallow livery (likely belonging to an InterCity 125), and what is most likely a Sprinter (it is unclear if this is a Class 150, 156, or 159) in Regional Railways livery.
  • Production for the video segment in this episode took place before the completion of the British Rail privatisation, which was filmed before the disestablishment of British Rail on 20 November 1997.
  • The first part of the video segment was filmed at the Whitecraigs railway station in Newton Mearns, Scotland, United Kingdom. The last part of the video segment in this episode was filmed at the Central railway station in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. If you look very closely at the train tickets, the date is shown, indicating that the video segment in this episode was filmed on 25 March 1997.

Goofs[]

  • In one shot during the kids' segment, the train they are riding on is a two-car Class 101 diesel multiple unit, while all other shots show them on a three-car Class 303 electric multiple unit.
