Little Bo Peep 1

Little Bo Peep is a character who appears in the Magical Event Little Bo Peep, along with her sheep. She is a shepherdess who wears a bright yellow and blue dress and a big blue hat. She also carries a long wooden cane and wonders around Teletubbyland looking for her sheep. Her main catchphrase that she repeats is 'Oh where, Oh where are my sheep?' and she sings as she looks for her sheep.

Trivia[]

  • The voice actor for Little Bo Peep is unknown. But if you listen closely it is a man doing the voice. In the credits of the Little Bo Peep episodes, there are no new names added to the additional voices, so somebody from the regular cast voiced the character. It may be possible that the character may have been voiced by Simon Shelton (but this is not clarified information so this may not be true).

Foreign voices[]

In the foreign dubs of Little Bo Peep, she is either voiced by either a man or woman. However, this is unlike the foreign dubs of The Lion and Bear where sometimes The Bear with Brown Fuzzy Hair is voiced by a man instead of a woman. If Little Bo Peep is voiced by a man in a foreign dub, the male voice actor puts on an effeminate/female voice.

Here is a list of some languages where Little Bo Peep is voiced by either a men or women:

Man

  • English
  • Croatian (Trivia: The voice actor also voices Dipsy and The Bear with Brown Fuzzy Hair in the Croatian dub of Teletubbies)
  • Dutch
  • French
  • Polish

Woman

  • Chinese
  • Czech
  • Indonesian
  • Italian
  • Korean
  • Latvian
  • Lithuanian
  • Persian (She doesn't sing, only speaks)
  • Thai (Voice is only heard off screen and when she says 'Hello'. After that the rest of the sketch is instrumental, see Apple Pie page for the episode)
