The Magical Events are certain scenes/shows that entertain the Teletubbies. They happen at the beginning, middle, and end of every episode (The Windmill spins faster and pink sparkles appear to be flying out of it and one of the Teletubbies gets to watch a video on their stomach. When it ends, we see the chosen Teletubby say "Again, Again" and we watch the entire video again, shortened in the 2015 reboot). In the second Magical Event, a visitor comes to entertain the Teletubbies. A Magical Event happens when The Windmill spins faster and pink sparkles appear to be flying out of it. There are seven Magical Events where the magical visitors come to entertain the other Teletubbies before the end of the episode. After the magical visitors fade away, the Windmill will be preparing to stop spinning before the end of the episode or to move on to the next scene.
TV Event[]
The Windmill Spinning With The Pink Sparkles
The Teletubbies get to watch a video on one of their stomachs (at the beginning of every episode and also the middle and end of it). After watching the video, the Teletubbies would become upset and ask for the video to be played again. The second playback of the TV events are omitted from home media releases.
In the 2015 series, the Teletubbies have play buttons on their stomachs, which play the video if another Teletubby taps it, and unlike the original series, TV events no longer fade transitions to the Baby Sun after they are over and simply jump cuts to it.
In the original series, some TV events had recurring kids and adults that have appeared in episodes. These include:
- Ned Frost - 3 episode appearances
- Alex Pascall - 7 episode appearances
- Debbie Ivens - 4 episode appearances
- King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys - 5 episode appearances
- David Stickman - 3 episode appearances
- Vinata Godbole - 2 episode appearances
- Andy Brown - 32 episode appearances
- Tamzin Griffin - 14 episode appearances
Magical Events[]
They are a potential bonus stage that usually occurs at the end of the episodes of the Teletubbies original TV series. However, this does not always guarantee that the Teletubbies and viewers will move on to the bonus stage in the end. That is due to Tubby Bye-Bye potentially happening early. Because according to the contract, the episode cannot exceed 30-50 minutes and may be as short as 10-20 minutes.

Trivia[]
- The Magical Events were dropped in the revival series, much to the fans' disappointment. This was perhaps due to the episodes being shorter and some of them being considered scary by toddlers.
- According to Anne Wood in interviews, having the TV transmission played twice was one of her greatest achievements with Teletubbies.
- Click here for the List of Magical Events/Tubby Dances episodes and videos.
- The Lion and Bear and Little Bo Peep are the only magical events to feature speaking dialogues and are longer.
- In addition, these were the only two magical events never shown on the PBS broadcasts.
- The Magic House, The Tap Dancing Teddy Bear, and The Lion and Bear are the only events to have more than one variant. These include:
- The Singing Puppet Man within the four windows.
- The Tap Dancing Teddy Bear performing twice.
- The Lion and Bear's original and edited sketches.
- In Play with the Teletubbies, there are two exclusive Magical Events, one with a train and the other with clouds. These are interactive and you can move the objects.
- In the Let's Learn English with the Teletubbies video series, a series of 2-part Magical Events are called Cartoon Magical Events. These are animated in flash animation and feature some words that are spoken by the narrator.
- In Jack Throwback Attack's interview with Nikky Smedley, Smedley herself brought up how each of the magical event segments featured a group of things by numbers, which included: two pair of animals from The Animal Parade, three ships from The Three Ships, four windows on the house from The Magic House, and five birds on the tree from The Magic Tree.
- Apart from Little Bo Peep, it is unknown who wrote/directed the previous Magical Events.
- The Magic House is the only Magical Event that has a US dub.
- The Three Ships and The Magic House are the only Magical events to not feature animals.
- The Singing Puppet Man and Little Bo Peep are the only human-like characters in the Magical Events.
- Tinky Winky and Dipsy bumps into each other when it cuts to the Teletubbies walking over the hills before a magical event starts.
