Mark Skirving

Mark Skirving (born March 13, 1966), better known as King Pleasure, is a musician (and later professional artist) who appeared in the early 1997 episodes of the Teletubbies TV series. In the band, King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys, he goes by King Pleasure. The other musicians are the Biscuit Boys, which has changed over time. The only founding Biscuit Boy who was a part of the band since it began is Chris Shirley. King Pleasure's Biscuit Boys lineup as of 2008, consists of Chris Shirley, John Battrum, Craig Sunderland, Matt Foundling, and Gary Barber.

Trivia

• On his first four appearances, he wore a yellow double-breasted suit with flap pockets and cuffs with four buttons. On his last appearance, he wore a black double-breasted suit with flap pockets and cuffs with four buttons.
• His Biscuit Boys wore red double-breasted suits with welt pockets and cuffs with three buttons.
• His musical instrument is the tenor saxophone. He also later played both the tenor and baritone saxophones.
• He and the Biscuit Boys have made albums, radio broadcasts, and many television appearances.
• At the time of his appearances on the show, he was 29 years old.
• In the TV series, he made five episode appearances.
• On all of his appearances on the show, his tenor saxophone was not seen.
• His voice mostly resembles the late great American singer, Elvis Presley.
• As of the early 2010s, Mark Skirving is fully bearded.
• When not performing with King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys, Mark Skirving creates paintings.
