Teletubbies Wiki

My Piano is the 14th episode from Series 7 of Teletubbies and the show's 204th episode overall.

Plot[]

Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are playing with their favourite things on the path. Then a voice trumpet rises and plays some music. The Teletubbies dance along the path to the music until the Magic Windmill starts spinning. The Teletubbies watch a little girl play her piano. Inside the house, a voice trumpet makes a big roaring noise. Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Laa Laa have lots of fun running away around the house. Finally, it's time for Tubby Bye Bye.

Featuring: Bryony Kay

Trivia[]

  • Footage of Tinky Winky listening to the voice trumpet and running around the house was later re-used in Guess Who I Am. In addition, the fourth close-up of the voice trumpet was re-used for that episode for Dipsy's and Laa-Laa's ROAR segment as well as the fourth voice trumpet close-up.
  • The boo shouter was Laa-Laa
  • The close up of the Voice Trumpet in the ROAR segment would later be reused in Go! in the Go to Sleep Teletubbies segment at the end of the video. This time however, it can be seen rising up, possibly implying that the footage was an alternative take.
  • The Chosen teletubby was Tinky Winky
  • The missing teletubby was Dipsy
  • Before it cuts to the Teletubbies turning their attention to the Windmill, if you listen closely the Windmill's spinning sound starts as the Teletubbies continue dancing down the path to the voice trumpet's music.
  • When Tinky Winky, Dipsy, and Laa-Laa falls down from running, the Voice Trumpet faces the camera during the close up instead of reusing the previous close up shot. In addition, it also changes model as well.

Goofs[]

In the fourth Voice Trumpet close-up during the ROAR segment, the Voice Trumpet seen is an different model rather than the exact Voice Trumpet used for the rest of the segment and the first close up.
