Shadows is the 36th episode of the original series. It first aired on 19th May 1997.
Plot[]
Po looks after the Teletubbies' favourite things while they go out for a walk. When they come back, Po can't remember which favourite thing belongs to which Teletubby. So they tell her which favourite thing belongs to them and she gives them back their favourite things. The Teletubbies watch some children making shadows before doing The Walking Dance before Tubby Bye-Bye.

Plot (US Version)[]
The Teletubbies do The Twisty Dance before they watch some children making shadows. Po decides to play a hiding game, she hides behind the Tubby Toaster and all the Teletubbies join in, one by one. Then Noo-Noo tidies the Teletubbies' favorite things up (except Po's Scooter) and they chase him before Tubby Bye-Bye.

- This is the first episode where the Teletubbies do the shortened version of The Walking Dance.
- The Shadows video was featured in the rare VHS Magical Surprises.
- The US Version of Shadows aired on April 15, 1998.
- The US Version has the Twisty Dance instead of the Walking Dance.
- Tinky Winky was the boo shouter in the UK version. Po was the boo shouter in the US version.
- In addition to being the boo shouter, Tinky Winky was chosen for the TV Event.
- Po was the missing Teletubby in both versions.
Goofs[]
- In the UK version, when Dipsy and Po bumped bottoms, Laa-Laa’s bottom sound was used for Dipsy.
