The Falling Down Dance

The Falling Down Dance is one of the dances that the Teletubbies do. It's like the Ring a Ring o' Roses nursery rhyme dance. It was first shown in the episode Drawing Cacti. The Teletubbies do this dance right beside the Windmill. This is one of the shortest dances.

Plot

The Teletubbies dance round and round some flowers but then they fall over and get up, they dance around the flowers again and fall over again, they get up again and dance around the flowers one more time and as soon as they fall over one last time, the dance is over, and the Teletubbies laugh. This dance doesn't have an extended version but it does have a music key change at the end of it.

Trivia

• The Falling Down Dance was filmed all in one shot.
• The Teletubbies are never silent during this dance. Every time they fall, they say "Whoa!" or "Whee!" and sometimes "Uh oh!", and burst into laughter. Then when they go to dance again, they always say "Again again!"
• In Walking in the Woods, and the US Versions of Numbers - 3, Running, Making Salad, Soccer (Argentina), and Teletubby Days: Po, when the Teletubbies finish the dance, the Windmill starts to spin with Sparkles close up, this is one of the rarest Windmill clips (watch English video to see it).
• In Walking in the Woods and Finding Chocolate Eggs, The Falling Down Dance comes after the TV Event.
• In the US Version of Numbers - 3, the windmill spins for the TV event after the dance ends.
• This is the second dance where Tinky Winky has his bag for some unknown reason, the other dance is the Walking Dance.
• Crazy Golf is the only episode where the Teletubbies make their jingle sounds when they fall over.

Goofs

• After the Teletubbies fall for the first time, a Jeep can be visibly seen on the right side of the screen.
• The second time the Teletubbies fall, Po's head almost comes off revealing the inside of the costume.
