The Grand Old Duke of York is the third overall episode of Teletubbies.

Synopsis

The Teletubbies join in a game when a voice trumpet sings the Grand Old Duke of York. The Magic Windmill spins and the Teletubbies watch as Po gets a musical transmission featuring King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys singing The Grand Old Duke of York. Then, the Teletubbies head to the path to do The Stamping and Stepping Dance, as they march down the path.

Suddenly, after that, a loud noise is heard, and the Teletubbies hear it, but they don't know what it is. Just then, a drum appears in Teletubbyland, and Po enjoys playing with it. When she bangs the drum, it makes Tinky Winky appear. It turns out that the drum is magic! They both bang the drum and it starts swapping clouds and flowers around. It even makes Laa-Laa appear in different places and Dipsy's hat appears on her head. Tinky Winky even tries to catch his bag but when the drum bangs it moves away from him until he catches it. Then the magic drum disappears.

The Magic Windmill spins and the Teletubbies go to watch a Magical Event. The Teletubbies arrive on a hill and gasp in surprise as The Magic House with four windows appears on a further hill. A shadow appears at the windows of the house and a voice is heard speaking gibberish. Then, on the top left window, the shadow pulls back the curtains and it is revealed to be a little man wearing a blue hat and jumper. The man starts singing in a high-pitched voice. When he's finished singing, he leaves the window and the house disappears. The Magic Windmill stops spinning and it's time for Tubby Bye-Bye.
