The Magic Train is one of the 2 exclusive Magical Event games. It was the only appeared in the video game Play with the Teletubbies and never appeared in any episodes from the 1997 series.

- This is one of the 2 exclusive Magical Event games. The other being Musical Clouds.
- This magical event game was similar as 2 episodes in the 1997 series (Going on a Train and Level Crossing) and the 2015 series Train Ride (which is Tubby Custard Ride).
- The train's horn would later be used as Salty's horn in the sixth series of Thomas & Friends. Likewise, the horns on the train's wagons are Mavis' original horn from the third series and BoCo's third series horn at different pitches.
- The locomotive is designed after a British Rail Class 40.
