The Teletubbies are asleep in bed. They wake up as five voice trumpets rise and play some lovely music. This makes the Teletubbies dance around the house, even the Noo Noo. Then, the Teletubbies watch a group of children at an aquarium store. They look in all the tanks at the different fish. Tinky Winky pretends to swim in the house around the table. Then the windmill starts spinning and he swims off to watch The Three Ships before the Windmill stops spinning for Tubby Bye-Bye.

Plot (US American Version)[]

The Teletubbies are asleep in bed. They wake up as five voice trumpets rise and play some lovely music. This makes the Teletubbies dance around the house, even the Noo Noo. Then, the Teletubbies watch a group of children at an aquarium store. They look in all the tanks at the different fish. Tinky Winky pretends to swim in the house around the table. Then the windmill starts spinning and he swims off to watch The Three Ships, and then the Teletubbies do The Swinging Dance before Tubby Bye-Bye.

  • The Lovely Music segment was featured in the VHS Again-Again!.
  • The last episode where the Voice Trumpets appears in groups of five.
  • When the Magic Windmill stops spinning, there is no fade effect between the Windmill and the rising Voice trumpet. This also happens in Snowy Story, the US Versions of Colours - Blue and Numbers - 4 (India), the Korean version of Hedgehogs, and in four Lion and Bear episodes: Irish Dancing, Colours - Brown and the Chinese versions of Asian Storyteller (The Fox) and Dragonflies.
  • Po was picked for the TV event in both versions.
  • The US American Version of Tropical Fish aired on October 18, 2001.
  • The US Version shows a different of Tropical Fish TV segment with American children.
  • Tinky Winky was the missing Teletubby in both versions.
  • Dipsy was the boo shouter in the UK Version. Tinky Winky was the boo shouter in the US Version.
  • The US Version of this episode has The Swinging Dance after The Three Ships while the UK Version does not have a dance.

Goofs[]

  • In several shots at the beginning of the first segment, the Voice Trumpets can clearly be seen at the bottom of the screen. This also occurs when the Voice Trumpets are shown rising.
  • After the voice trumpets rise up, the 4th and 5th voice trumpets swapped places for no reason.
