The Teletubbies with their Tubby Sponges.
The Tubby Sponges are located at the Control Panel. The Teletubbies use them to clean themselves. Tinky Winky's sponge case is purple, Dipsy's sponge case is green, Laa-Laa's sponge case is yellow and Po's sponge case is red. The Tubby Sponges are locked in the sponge cases. To unlock them, one of the Teletubbies must speak into a little microphone beside them asking for the Tubby Sponges. After they wait for a few seconds, the cases light up and make noises, and then the Tubby Sponges are ready to take out.
The Teletubbies also get a little rhyme when washing, "Wash Wash Wash, Wash Wash Wash, Tubby Tubby Tubby Tubby, Wash Wash Wash". Occasionally, a Voice Trumpet will either recite the rhyme with them or tell them which parts of the body they need to wash.

Trivia[]
- The Tubby Sponges are not in the reboot series.
- Among the three Voice Trumpet appearances, Flamenco Dancing is the only episode where it didn't instruct the Teletubbies to wash.
- Before the Tubby Sponges were introduced, the sponge cases had pictures of coloured hands on them instead. They can only be seen in the episode The Helicopter. In later episodes, the coloured hands would be removed and the cases would just be empty before their introduction in Numbers - 6 (Version 1).
- Tinky Winky is the only of the four Teletubbies who has not spoken into the microphone for the Tubby Sponges. Laa-Laa and Po have done it twice, while Dipsy only did it once.
- The Tubby Sponge sounds when they are being made appears in Colours - Red when the Control Panel begins flashing.
