Washing the Bus

Washing the Bus is the 25th episode of the original series. It first aired on 2nd May, 1997.

Plot

Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Po have fun saying 'boo!' Then, they watch some children riding a bus as it is washed at a bus wash. Dipsy and Laa-Laa listen to a voice trumpet recite 'Incy Wincy Spider'. Dipsy goes up the slide pretending to be Incy Wincy Spider going up the water spout while Laa Laa watches him. A cloud appears and starts to rain making Dipsy go down the slide like the spider being washed out. The Teletubbies do the Round and Round Dance before Tubby Bye-Bye.

This episode introduced the Normal Window windmill animation from far away.
Po was the boo shouter.
Laa Laa was the missing Teletubby.
This is the first episode to use a new windmill sound.
The German version is called "Shortbread" and has a different TV Transmission.
This episode reportedly was dubbed in French, but is missing from the series' official YouTube channel for unknown reasons.
The music heard in the TV Event of this episode is reused in Rickshaw.
In the Lithuanian dub, Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Po say 'Awooo!' instead of saying 'Boo!'.
